Belle is a 16 month old HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY black tri female. Belle came to ARPH from a high kill shelter in KY. We don’t know a lot about her life before coming into our program.
Belle is a typical adolescent Aussie, she’s still learning – and will need basic obedience and training. Her foster family is working with her on basic commands and she’s picking everything up quickly! She’s even beginning to walk on the leash.
Belle LOVES to play and run — and she can run FAST!Lovely Belle is not food or toy aggressive and she really likes her foster brother.
She can be reactive to strange dogs – something her foster family is working on and her new owner will need to continue. It’s not unusual to find Belle and one of her foster cat siblings curled up on the sofa – even the family’s shy cat loves Belle!
Best of all Belle is a huge cuddle-monster. She likes nothing better than cuddling with her foster mom or dad – unless it’s a belly rub.
Belle is crate trained, but great indoors. She’s treat motivated and wants nothing more than to please her foster parents.Belle is learning to like the car — right now she thinks it’s a very scary thing, her foster family is working on it!
The ideal home for Belle is an adult active home that’s willing to take the time to ensure Belle becomes the very best girl! She’s being fostered outside of Richmond, Virginia.
