MOKI!

This flying high super energetic Aussie is so much fun. He is a handsome Red-Tri, Mini Australian Shepherd Male, DOB 5/18/2017 and weighing in at 30 lbs.

He loves his person and wants to be with you. He is driven to play; tennis balls, Frisbee’s, stuffed toys and toys with squeakers are the boom.

He knows how to sit, stay (but this is so hard when you want to wiggle) down and sit. He is improving all the time on his leash walking. Rides well in the car and prefers the back seat. He would make a great disc dog because of how high he can jump.

Moki likes other dogs and is currently being fostered with three (3) other dogs. He is also great with meeting new people!

He loves to snuggle and sit on your lap. Gives very gentle kisses. He loves it whenyou kiss all over him. He comes back for more loving.

He is housebroken and will stay in a kennel. He has his meals in his kennel, he knows where to go when it’s meal time! He opens the door and lays down and waits for his bowl!

He would be best in a house with older children please. We do not know how Moki is with our feline friends.

A fully fenced yard would be best but he has great recall and is easily trainable, so an electric fence might work.

Moki is up to date on his vaccinations of Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper. Moki is Neutered and Micro-chipped. Moki has been fecal tested and heartworm tested ( both negative). Moki takes monthly preventatives for heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention.

Moki is being fostered in the St.Louis, Missouri area.

  1. We are the couple that was approved for adoption in Dec. before our 14 year old tri passed away. At that time we were interested in Maverick but didn’t want you to hold him until April 5th when we return from Florida. So we are now ready for to start looking for our newest family addition. Moki looks like a really good possibility for our new aussie baby. With the beginning training he has had plus his people skills and doggie language started it seems like a it could work. We will be home in St. Louis by April 5-6.

    1. Dear Wendy and Stan –

If Moki is still available when you return to St.Louis we would love to set up a meet and greet! Please email us when you return to check on his status.
      Thank you so much!
      Sincerely,
      Constance
